Heron mural at 46 The Calls

Painted by the talented Peter Barber, a renowned commercial mural artist from the UK, this is the first mural he’s ever painted using a boat as his platform! 🖌️🚤

Deliberately created during a time when the river had a very low water level, the mural is positioned so that part of it submerges as the river rises, offering a constantly changing view of the artwork. 🌊✨

It continues to bring delight to river taxi passengers, passing boaters, and pedestrians on the towpath, always being photographed. 📸🚤👣

We’ve even fitted lighting to illuminate the mural in the evenings, brightening the walks of those passing by at night. 🌟🌜
