A refurbished sand and gravel barge, transported from the river Aire to a traffic island in the university area to create a unique pub.
The project needed to overcome many logistical difficulties in transportation, and the challenge of persuading the council of the merits of the idea.
The Dry Dock became the major brewery owner’s highest volume trading site nationally and is now a city landmark.
